John Sanders began his career in 2018 at Merrill Lynch Palm Beach, FL, working alongside Matthew Arendt.  He then became a founding member of Atlantic Wealth Advisors (AWA) in May of 2022. John, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® and Wealth Management Advisor, serves as the lead financial planner in the practice. John works closely with individuals and families to design personalized financial strategies that reflect their goals, values, and long-term vision.

A first-generation Floridian with family roots in Long Island, New York, John values family, legacy, and the pursuit of long-term success—principles that guide his approach to financial planning and investing. Coming from a family of multi-generational entrepreneurs, he has a natural affinity for serving business owners and understands the unique financial challenges they face, making him a trusted partner for clients navigating life transitions and building lasting foundations.

John is a dedicated Yankee fan, an avid golfer, and has a passion for the culinary arts – both cooking for loved ones and dining at innovative restaurants around the globe. Each year, John takes part in “Pink Ball,” a breast cancer awareness charity softball tournament in Boca Raton, hosted by his aunt and supported by retired MLB superstars. For John, the event represents the perfect blend of his love for baseball and commitment to giving back—values he shares with many of his clients. He welcomes individuals with shared interests, backgrounds, or philanthropic values to connect and exchange experiences, insights, or even treasured family recipes. 

John earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Central Florida and maintains FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities registrations.
